Before you dig

Call 811 before you dig

Wyoming law requires a utility locate before any digging, big or small. At least 2 full business days before you dig (weekends and holidays don’t count), dial 811 (or toll-free 1-800-849-2476) or file a free ticket online with One-Call of Wyoming.

  • It’s free, and One-Call of Wyoming takes requests 24/7.
  • Utility crews mark buried lines with paint or flags. Wait for the marks and dig carefully around them.
  • The renter is responsible for calling 811 before any digging with the machine.
